«2600 Years before Armageddon»

«2600 Years before Armageddon»

You can find this story in the book of the prophet Daniel (in chapter 2). It is dated down by the year of 603 B.C. Just in the very year the ancient Babylonian king Nebuchadnezzar had an unusual dream at night. He had been troubled with his dream so much that in the morning he convoked the security council with all of his numerous advisers: magicians, enchanters, sorcerers and astrologers.

«What Relation Does Hitler Have to Armageddon?»

Indeed, it would seem strange why we ask this question. Hitler and Armageddon, what do they really have in common? However, let us not be so hasty in conclusions… It is an acknowledged fact that Biblical Armageddon is connected with many of the world’s known politicians. It is true. We read about it in the book of the Revelation: «For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty … And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon» (Revelation 16:14, 16).

«Who is Christ?»

Just imagine, if some people from a distant planet once visited our Earth with only the aim of spying over it, they would find out that the most famous man that had ever lived on Earth was Joshua (Jesus), well-known as Christ. His short – term ministry as a Rabbi in a small Jewish province at the very outset of our era influenced our civilization immensely. No activity of any other man on our planet could be compared with his energy and devotion.

«Why the Messiah Was To Die?»

The Holy Scriptures say that death will one day be abolished:«The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death» (1 Corinthians 15:26). People will reach eternity and they will never die: «For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality...» (1 Corinthians 15:53). Peole will be immortal and they will be able to travel through the universe billions of miles, their abilities will be constantly improved...But at present we are mortal. Why is this so?

«World History in One Night: The Cylinder of Cyrus»

It is the year of 553 B.C. Daniel - the ancient prophet – was sleeping when the Spirit of God came down upon him and the events of the future were revealed in front of him in a bright and vivid prophetic dream. This vision looked like surrealistic horror films. The unusual beasts were main characters of this vision: «Daniel spake and said, I saw in my vision by night, and, behold, the four winds of the heaven strove upon the great sea. And four great beasts came up from the sea, diverse one from another. The first was like a lion... a second, like to a bear... and lo another, like a leopard... and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible...» (Daniel 7:2-7).

The third beast which the prophet Daniel saw in his prophetic vision looked like a leopard: «After this I beheld, and lo another, like a leopard, which had upon the back of it four wings of a fowl; the beast had also four heads; and dominion was given to it» (Daniel 7:6). The leopard symbolizes the Greek Empire of Alexander the Great and his successors. The Persians were utterly defeated by the Greeks by 331 B.C., even though the Persian army out-numbered the Greek one immensely.

Aristotel began to read from the book of Daniel how God used Daniel to foretell to the Babylonian king the fall of his powerful empire, the victory of Persians and that Greece would take possession of Persia:«... Behold, there shall stand up yet three kings in Persia; and the fourth shall be far richer than they all: and by his strength through his riches he shall stir up all against the realm of Grecia. And a mighty king shall stand up, that shall rule with great dominion, and do according to his will» (Daniel 11:2,3).

Hitler was an anti-Semite even more strongly than he was a racist. Though the Japanese and Germans were of different races, Hitler did not feel any pangs of remorse after forming a military alliance with them and proclaiming yellow-skinned citizens of Japan to be «honourable Aryans». The status of «honourable Aryans» could never be afforded to Jews even though common sense showed that they were an asset to Germany.
